Methodology: Every figure is the charter company's own, read from the page named on its row and stored with the string that was read and the date it was read. Units are recorded AS PRINTED - a week, a day, or a stated block of hours - and never converted, because this trade prints all three and a converted number would be ours rather than theirs. The median and the range are computed over companies publishing a WEEKLY figure only. A company that publishes no price is listed with that fact and the date it was checked, never estimated; a company whose page could not be read is recorded separately again, because not knowing is not the same as there being nothing. Both kinds of absence are re-asserted on every run: a published quote that has left its page fails the ingest, and so does a recorded absence on a page that has since printed a price. A published rate is the yacht only - the Advance Provisioning Allowance, VAT or local charter tax, fuel, any delivery leg and the crew gratuity are charged on top, and are the difference between a brochure figure and the bill.
