Cost to rent a yacht in Greece: how much to rent a yacht in Greece by boat, by month and by extra

Three companies publish the cost of chartering a yacht in Greece, and their figures look like three different countries until you line up what each is describing. One is a low season small monohull, one is a range for two people over seven days, and one is a named boat from a named base. Together they bracket the market more honestly than any single average could.

Yacht rental Greece prices: the three published figures

Read on 11 September 2026, Nautilus Yachting prices a one week charter on a two to three cabin monohull from around 900 GBP in low season and states that a week on a luxury catamaran with a skipper in high season could be upwards of 10,000. The Moorings starts a seven day Greek charter for two at 2,634 USD and runs to 36,999. Istion Yachting prices a Bali Catspace of 2023 from 3.510 EUR a week out of Athens and an Excess 14 from 4.950 out of Lefkas.

What moves the number

The month, first: low season and high season differ by a factor of two or more on the same hull everywhere in this record. The boat second: a catamaran is roughly double a comparable monohull. The base third, because Athens, Lefkas and Kos are not priced alike. And the crew, because a skipper is quoted per day on top and a fully crewed yacht is a different product at several times the money.

The extras, which Istion publishes

Fuel at 200 to 400 EUR a week for a monohull and 500 to 700 for a catamaran, depending on engine and generator use. Port dues, water and electricity paid on the quay each evening. End cleaning at the base. A security deposit held against a card or waived for a fee, with Istion stating that deposits are covered up to 125.000 EUR where a yacht is impounded in a foreign port.

What a day costs instead

If the plan is an afternoon rather than a week, Sailo lists 29 boats at Santorini at an average of 1,612 EUR a day, from 350 to 9,600, with a captained 34 foot Dufour at 380 EUR for eight hours, and 35 boats around Kefalonia with a captained 44 foot Bavaria at 800 EUR for eight hours. Those are captained day boats and they are a different market from the weekly charter fleet.
