Sicily's charter interest is mostly north of it. The Aeolian week

Why shelter is the planning constraint
The Aeolians shelve steeply and offer very little all-round protection. A wind shift overnight can turn a comfortable anchorage into an untenable one, which means checking the forecast twice a day and being willing to move. That is normal Mediterranean seamanship rather than a warning, but it is more demanding than a Croatian week where a sheltered bay is always half an hour away.
